The Ottawa Folk Festival, now rebranded as CityFolk, is a 5 day celebration of music, dance and visual arts featuring an extensive mix of musical performances on multiple stages, free music workshop sessions, special children’s and family performances, beer gardens, and so more. It is a family-friendly event committed to sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives. This year the festival talks place in mid-September each year.

There is a variety of musical talent that comes from the Ottawa area and Marvest has been created to showcase these talents. Marvest- a harvest of music, food, fun and much more- is the newest creation from the amazing hosts of CityFolk. Marvest will showcase the many talented musicians who have made Ottawa’s music scene so lively at multiple venues along Bank Street. The Glebe will be the place to be with up to 80 local acts that will perform a series of free public concerts in the bars, restaurants and storefronts of this posh neighbourhood. These performances can also be enjhoyed across three stages in the Aberdeen Pavilion of Lansdowne Park.
